Dance PhotograFilm is a dance-focused photo, video and film production company founded by Baldemar Bottini in 2022, Berlin.
After several years in the photo and video industry, Baldemar and Rocío Becerra put together their experience, expertise and skills to create in 2022 a photo&video production company pointing to the dance branch, as well as mentoring for the realization of dance productions in order to help dancers of all levels and all styles to show themselves and their work in a much more professional way. Our success is based on helping dancers to achieve their goals, whether it is simply to immortalise memories to show to their children and grandchildren, to enhance their portfolio or for applications for auditions, castings, agencies, programs or produce a high-end film for festivals and beyond.

BALDEMAR BOTTINI
Photographer & Cinematographer
Founder and manager of Dance PhotograFilm. Working in the photographic and videographic industry since 2017. Specialised in dance productions since 2018.
Baldemar Bottini is a social scientist and DoP (Director of Photography) from Barcelona, Spain. He
graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2009 with a specialization in cultural
institution management. During this time, Baldemar also earned a certificate in digital photography from
the same university after completing related coursework.
Baldemar moved to Berlin in 2016, where he continued his photographic studies and went deeper in his
greatest passion: cinematography. He briefly worked in the fashion industry for a year and in 2018, he
entered the world to which he truly belongs: culture and art. From that moment on, he began working
specifically in the field of dance, aiming to capture the feeling and soul of dancers through still
photography and moving images.
In 2022 he created his own audiovisual production company, Dance PhotograFilm, which he currently
directs and coordinates together with Lynne Scharf with the aim of continuing to capture an artistic,
sincere and profound expression of the human being, DANCE.
Lynne scharf
photographer & Professional Dancer
Also in charge of operations of Dance PhotograFilm. Working in the dance industry since 2024.
Lynne Scharf is a dancer and photographer from New York. She graduated from Bennington College in
2023 with a BFA in Dance and Music and has since moved to Berlin to deepen her creative practices
while working as a freelance artist. She approaches dance with curiosity and play, valuing the precision of
form without being bound to it while finding contrast and release through improvisation. Her movement
practice often explores the acoustics of the body, breath, and voice, provoking the elasticity of human
expression.
In addition to her performance practices, Lynne works with DancePhotographfilm as a photographer and
Relations Coordinator. Here she explores the nuances of movement from behind the lens, making photos
that reflect a sensitivity built by a lifelong relationship to dance. She also helps dancers from Berlin and
beyond connect with DancePhotografilm to make their unique project ambitions become a reality.
